Description

A delicious creamy garlic chicken dish made with tender chicken breasts, garlic, and a rich sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 large yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (or olive oil)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add chopped onions and minced garlic; sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  4. Stir in sweet paprika and toast for about 30 seconds to enhance flavor.
  5. Pour in low-sodium chicken broth while scraping the bottom of the pan to release browned bits; bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Return the seared chicken to the skillet, cover, and let simmer for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until smooth. Adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
