- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp almond extract
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened butter and sugar until creamy (about 5 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Sift together almond flour, baking powder, and salt; gently fold into the wet mixture until combined.
- Stir in vanilla and almond extracts.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
