- 4 pieces Chicken Breasts (Choose evenly sized pieces for uniform cooking.)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (Essential for searing.)
- 1/4 cup Hot Honey (Store-bought or homemade.)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (Fresh garlic can be used but may change cooking times.)
- 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika (Regular paprika is a substitute.)
- 1/2 cup Feta Cheese (Can be replaced with goat cheese.)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Thyme (Dried thyme can be used in a pinch.)
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub them generously with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of olive oil and let it heat until shimmering.
- Place the chicken breasts in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Lower the heat and drizzle the hot honey over the chicken. Baste the chicken for 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle feta cheese and fresh thyme over the chicken. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
