Description
A delicious garlic shrimp toast topped with fresh herbs.
Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 slices sturdy bread (French baguette or sourdough)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 green onions (chopped)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- to taste salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro, finely chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix shrimp, garlic, green onions, melted butter, salt, pepper, and herbs until combined.
- Slice bread into 1-inch thick pieces and arrange on a baking sheet. Lightly toast for 5 minutes until golden.
- Remove toasted bread from the oven and generously spoon shrimp mixture onto each slice.
- Return to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until the shrimp are cooked through and edges are crispy.
- Garnish with additional herbs before serving warm.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the shrimp mixture.
