A delicious stir-fried beef recipe with bell peppers that’s quick and easy to make!
Ingredients

- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (mix of colors)
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Slice the beef against the grain into thin strips.
- Marinate beef in soy sauce and cornstarch for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan; sauté garlic and onions until translucent.
- Add marinated beef; sear until browned (about 4–5 minutes).
- Stir in bell peppers; cook until slightly softened (about 3–4 minutes).
- Pour in chicken broth mixed with brown sugar and black pepper; simmer until sauce thickens.
Notes
- For added flavor, feel free to add other vegetables such as broccoli or snap peas.
- Serve over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
