- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and remaining sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, then add milk and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Scoop dollops of batter onto the prepared sheet about two inches apart.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
