Description
Delicious and colorful Kool-Aid grapes make for a fun snack or party treat!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1–2 pounds seedless green grapes
- 3–5 packets unsweetened Kool-Aid (different flavors/colors)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (more if needed for extra coating)
- 1 cup water (for rinsing)
Instructions
- Rinse and dry the grapes by removing the grapes from the stems. Rinse them thoroughly under cold water and then lay them on a paper towel to dry. You want them to be slightly damp, not soaking, so the Kool-Aid mixture sticks just right.
- Set up your flavor station with small bowls, mix one Kool-Aid packet with about 2–3 tablespoons of sugar. Stir well until combined. Do this for each flavor you plan to use. These colorful powders are going to be your coating.
- Dip and roll a slightly damp grape and roll it around in the Kool-Aid mixture until it’s completely coated. It helps to use a toothpick or skewer for less mess. Transfer each coated grape to a parchment-lined tray or plate.
- Chill until set; all your grapes are coated, refrigerate them for at least 1 hour. This helps the coating set and gives them a slightly crisp bite that makes them extra satisfying.
- Serve and enjoy your Kool-Aid Grapes chilled for the best texture and flavor. The vibrant colors make them a great centerpiece for kids’ parties, holiday tables, or fun snacking any time of year.
Notes
