Description

Delicious and colorful Kool-Aid grapes make for a fun snack or party treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 pounds seedless green grapes
  • 35 packets unsweetened Kool-Aid (different flavors/colors)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (more if needed for extra coating)
  • 1 cup water (for rinsing)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the grapes by removing the grapes from the stems. Rinse them thoroughly under cold water and then lay them on a paper towel to dry. You want them to be slightly damp, not soaking, so the Kool-Aid mixture sticks just right.
  2. Set up your flavor station with small bowls, mix one Kool-Aid packet with about 2–3 tablespoons of sugar. Stir well until combined. Do this for each flavor you plan to use. These colorful powders are going to be your coating.
  3. Dip and roll a slightly damp grape and roll it around in the Kool-Aid mixture until it’s completely coated. It helps to use a toothpick or skewer for less mess. Transfer each coated grape to a parchment-lined tray or plate.
  4. Chill until set; all your grapes are coated, refrigerate them for at least 1 hour. This helps the coating set and gives them a slightly crisp bite that makes them extra satisfying.
  5. Serve and enjoy your Kool-Aid Grapes chilled for the best texture and flavor. The vibrant colors make them a great centerpiece for kids’ parties, holiday tables, or fun snacking any time of year.
