Description

A delicious and creamy ditalini pasta dish cooked with garlic, Parmesan cheese, and a touch of heavy cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 1/4 cups ditalini pasta (uncooked)
  • 2 cups chicken broth (+ up to 1 additional cup if needed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (plus more to taste)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (finely grated)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (+1/4 more if desired)
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 0 black pepper (to taste)
  • 0 fresh parsley (minced)

Instructions

  1. Add olive oil and garlic paste to a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat until garlic is fragrant and beginning to brown.
  2. Add in ditalini pasta and stir to coat.
  3. Pour in chicken broth to cover pasta and add salt. Stir frequently.
  4. Once broth is mostly absorbed and pasta is al dente, add Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and butter. Stir until cheese is melted.
  5. Season with additional salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • This dish can be adjusted by adding more chicken broth if needed for desired creaminess.
  • Fresh parsley adds a nice touch of color and flavor as a garnish.
