Description
A delicious and creamy ditalini pasta dish cooked with garlic, Parmesan cheese, and a touch of heavy cream.

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 1/4 cups ditalini pasta (uncooked)
- 2 cups chicken broth (+ up to 1 additional cup if needed)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (plus more to taste)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (finely grated)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (+1/4 more if desired)
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 0 black pepper (to taste)
- 0 fresh parsley (minced)
Instructions
- Add olive oil and garlic paste to a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat until garlic is fragrant and beginning to brown.
- Add in ditalini pasta and stir to coat.
- Pour in chicken broth to cover pasta and add salt. Stir frequently.
- Once broth is mostly absorbed and pasta is al dente, add Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and butter. Stir until cheese is melted.
- Season with additional salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- This dish can be adjusted by adding more chicken broth if needed for desired creaminess.
- Fresh parsley adds a nice touch of color and flavor as a garnish.
