Description

A delicious and crispy dish made with parmesan and onions, perfect as a snack or side!


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 3 yellow onions (medium, very thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 2 teaspoons paprika (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or to taste)
  • 0 teaspoon seasoning salt (or to taste)
  • 0 teaspoon ground black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Grate parmesan cheese and spread in a thin layer over the parchment paper.
  3. Slice onions very thin and lay them over the cheese in a single layer.
  4. Brush onions with avocado oil. Sprinkle with paprika, sea salt, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Let cool on the pan for 10 minutes before breaking up and enjoying.
